Important update for Webull Omnibus accounts:
TradeLog has been informed that Webull is no longer providing a Full Transaction Report (transaction-level activity export) upon request, which TradeLog’s Webull import filter was designed to use.
What This Means for Webull Omnibus Accounts
Clarification of the available “Transaction History” Download
-
Webull provides instructions to download a “Transaction History,” however please note this file is an Orders Report, not a Full Transaction Report. The Orders Report:
- Does not include commission or fee information
- Does not reflect complete transaction activity
- Is not considered a transaction-level activity report
Because this data is incomplete, it cannot be used for accurate tax reporting in TradeLog. This has been confirmed by TradeLog clients who compared the Orders Report against their broker statements and Form 1099-B.
Closed Lot / Gain-Loss Reports
-
Webull’s Closed Lot or Gain/Loss reports also cannot be imported into TradeLog. These reports:
- Do not include all trading activity (only those closed in the tax year)
- Reflect adjusted cost basis
- Do not provide raw transaction-level data
TradeLog requires complete, unadjusted transaction-level data to calculate gains, losses, and wash sales correctly.
Current Workaround
At this time, the only apparent option is to use monthly account statements.
- The Securities Trading Activity section contains the required transaction detail.
- However, these statements appear to be image-only PDFs.
-
Users will need to:
- Extract the data using PDF conversion tools
- Format it for import using TradeLog’s Excel/Text import feature
- Or manually enter transactions
We will continue to look for solutions to help TradeLog customers with Webull accounts.
The absence of a Full Transaction Report makes it significantly more difficult for traders to maintain independent, accurate trading records for tax reporting. Since active traders often must comply with IRS requirements that require more reporting than the 1099-B, we hope Webull will provide a solution for a downloadable transaction history needed.
If there are additional columns included in the file that Webull sends you, then it will need to be edited to REMOVE those columns from the file.

I've had good success using Apex Clearing activity report as always still for 2025. However, I generally also pull data from the monthly PDF summaries from Webull using an application called Tabula (designed to extract text data from PDF image files). I use the extracted data for month by month comparisons.
