Note: Fidelity made changes to their trade history download in May 2024. Fidelity is currently only reporting prices to the second decimal, whereas they previously reported to the 4th decimal. If you have a problem with trade prices/amounts after importing, please check your CSV file. If the price needs to be corrected, you can manually edit it in TradeLog to fix. Please report this issue to your broker.
- Log on to your Fidelity Investments account.
-
Select your account from the left panel, then click Activity & Orders, followed by History.
- Select a Date Range, and click the Apply button. We recommend downloading one quarter at a time. (Fidelity trade history is available for the last 5 trading years.)
- Wait for the data to be displayed, then click the Download button to begin the csv file download.
-
Click the Save button on the popup File Download dialog box.
Note: If the csv file opens in your web browser, or opens in Microsoft Excel, rather than receiving a prompt to download and save, then there is likely a problem with your Windows file associations for csv files. For instructions on how to fix this click hereSave the file to the documents/tradelog/import folder. - Run TradeLog
-
Go to the Account tab at the top and click the from File button.
-
Select the file you just saved from Fidelity and click the Open button.
TradeLog will prompt you to save the imported data. Click Yes.
