NOTE: Only one application can be linked to your brokerage account at a time. If your account is linked to Quicken, a trading platform, or any other third party app, then you will not be able to link with BrokerConnect in TradeLog. This is a security feature from the broker and there is no workaround. If you wish to use BrokerConnect, you will first have to unlink your other apps.
- Make sure you have first linked your account with SnapTrade. Follow our instructions here: Linking Your Account with SnapTrade
- Select the Account tab at the top, and click the Broker Connect button.
- Select a date range, or click one of the radio buttons as seen below. There will be different selections per broker. Note, TradeLog will automatically select the From and To date based on your range selection, you can change the From and To date manually as well.
Note: There is a 90 day and 5,000 record limit per import. If necessary, repeat steps 1 through 3 until all data has been imported. If over 5,000 records, you will need to import a smaller timeframe.
- Click OK to initiate the import. Your trades will be automatically imported and matched.
