Note: Please make absolutely sure that you do not have open positions by reviewing your December statement of the prior tax year. You need to examine two sections of your statement: (1) Holdings as of December 31; and (2) Trades Pending Settlement. TradeLog records transactions based on trade date as required by the IRS. If there are trades in the prior tax year that are pending settlement, you must account for these in your baseline positions.
