Form 8949 E-Filing Option

The Form 8949 report menu provides an option to Create Form8949.pdf attachment for eFiling. With this option selected, when you run the Form 8949 report, TradeLog will automatically generate a PDF of the Form 8949 which can be used for e-filing with some applications. This PDF document does not include the Schedule D summary page, which is not to be filed with the IRS.

 

 

Note: The IRS allows Form 8949 to be submitted by PDF when e-filing. However, not all e-filing programs support PDF attachment at this time.
